Kenneth Chen is an experienced attorney whose practice focuses on elder law, estate planning, wills and trust and Medi-Cal eligibility and planning. He is dedicated to helping seniors and families navigate the legal, financial, and practical challenges that arise later in life, with an emphasis on clarity, compassion, and long-term planning that preserves family stability.

Mr. Chen brings more than two decades of combined legal, regulatory, and healthcare experience to his work. Before joining the Elder & Disability Law Firm, he worked in the healthcare revenue-cycle field, where he focused on assisting needy applicants in obtaining Medi-Cal eligibility through the administrative hearings process. His background gives him a unique understanding of the intersection between healthcare systems, public benefits, and the legal needs of aging individuals and their families.

In his elder law practice, Mr. Chen assists clients with Medi-Cal eligibility, long-term care planning, special-needs considerations, and trust drafting and administration. He regularly advises families on protecting assets, avoiding probate, understanding property-tax consequences, and structuring estates in ways that reduce conflict, preserve assets and promote smooth transitions for loved ones.
